Front End Underwriters! - $27-32/hour - Boca Raton, FL

Immediate need for experienced Front End Underwriters in the Boca Raton area seeking a great position within a Mortgage organization. In this Underwriter position, you must have a minimum of 2+ years within the last 5 years of current Front End underwriting experience, strong knowledge of income calculations, tax returns, reading credit reports, identifying red flags, basic knowledge of appraisal and ability to recognize red flags and ineligible properties, thorough working knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwriting guidelines and automated underwriting engines (DU/LP). NMLS-MLO Licensure preferred for this Underwriter position. In this Front End Underwriter role, the responsibilities will include: reviewing mortgage files submitted to Underwriting, calculating income, analyzing debt and assets, as well as completing an in-depth review of the completed appraisal and title. Additional responsibilities in this Underwriter role include entering data into the client?s loan operating system, utilizing an automated underwriting system to determine approval and clearing conditions for Final Approval.

Candidates must possess a strong sense of urgency with an ability to work in a team environment, maintaining excellent organizational, communication, and PC skills.
